Vitamix Peach Melba Breakfast Smoothie
A great little smoothie with a mix of peaches, raspberries and a little bit of custard
Ingredients
- 400g tin of peach’s
- 100g bag of frozen raspberry’s
- 100ml of fresh orange juice
- 150ml of custard, leave a little bit for garnish
- a couple of fresh raspberry’s for garnish
Method
- Empty out the peach juice from the peach tin, and add the peaches and raspberries to the blender. Add you custard, leaving a little for the garnish, and your orange juice and blend together for a minute or so.
- Add some ice to your smoothie, drop a spoonful of custard for garnish, along with the fresh raspberries
Banana, & Mango Vitamix smoothie
This smoothie is so refreshing in the morning, well anytime of the day to be honest. Its full of vitamin C, and is made with fresh fruits and a little bit of yoghurt.
Ingredients
- 20 clementine’s, doesn’t have to be exact
- Leave one clementine for garnish
- 2 ripe mangos
- 2 ripe bananas
- 500g low-fat yogurt or if you prefer, your choice of milk
- a few ice cubes
Method
- Cut the clementine’s into halves and then squeeze the juice into your blender. To save time in the morning i do this the night before, and place the juice into a jug and cover with cling film.
- Peel and then slice the mangos, making sure to remove the stone and chop the mango up into small pieces.
- Peel the bananas and slice them, making sure to leave one piece for garnish
- Put all of the ingredients into your blender and blend up for a minute or so
- Serve the smoothies into glasses, add the ice and add the left over banana slice for garnish

Strawberry and Avocado Healthy Smoothie
A creamy breakfast-friendly blend that’s high in calcium and low in calories
Ingredients
- ½ avocado
- 150g strawberry fresh or frozen
- 4 tablespoons of low-fat yogurt
- 200ml skimmed milk
- Squeeze of lemon juice
- dribble of honey
Method
- Peel your avocado and, slice your avocado into two halves, saving the one of the halves for tomorrow. With the remaining half, remove the stones and cut up into small chunks.
- Add your avocado chunks and all the remaining ingredients into your blender and blend for a minute or so.
- The lemon juice and honey is to your preference how much you add
Easy Avocado Smoothie Recipe
This easy smoothie gets its vibrant green colour from avocado, cucumber, spinach and kale. Blitz with pineapple and coconut water.
Ingredients
- ½ avocado
- generous handful of spinach
- generous handful of kale
- 50g of tinned pineapple chunks
- one small (approx. 10 cm of cucumber) cucumber chopped up into slices
- 300ml of coconut water
Method
- Peel your avocado and, slice your avocado into two halves, or use up the half you saved from yesterday. With the remaining half, remove the stones and cut up into small chunks.
- Drain of the juice from the tinned pineapple chunks
- Add all of the ingredients into your blender and blend for 1 to 2 minutes
Healthy Kale & Banana Smoothie
This vegan green smoothie is ram packed full of vitamin C, and a hint of some citrus and zesty lime and pineapple.
Ingredients
- 2 small handfuls of kale
- ½ an avocado
- ½ lime, but only the juice
- A handful of pineapple chunks, frozen is your easiest option
- small sized chunk ginger
- 1 tablespoon of cashew nuts
- 1 peeled banana
Method
- Peel your avocado, and slice into two halves. Store one half for any future smoothie recipes. Remove the stones and slice up the avocado into chunks.
- Put all the avocado chunks into your blender, along with the rest of the ingredients and blend until its smooth
Raspberry & Strawberry Smoothie
A really nice smoothie with two of my favorite fruits.
Ingredients
- One cup of raspberry or strawberry yoghurt. (Which ever you prefer the most)
- Half a cup of full fat milk, (Whole Milk) USA: Red top, UK: Blue top
- One cup of full of frozen raspberries
- Three quarters of a cup with frozen strawberries
- Two cups full of crushed ice
Instructions
- Blend for two minutes and you have your Raspberry & Strawberry smoothie.
Cranberry Smoothie
There’s no need to save cranberries for the holiday season. This refreshingly tart and creamy smoothie is simply delicious all year round.
Smoothie tip: If you don’t have any frozen cranberries on hand, fresh some fresh cranberries yourself. This smoothie can also be made in exactly the same way with whipping cream or heavy cream. Just make certain that the cranberries are frozen.
Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen cranberries
- 1 tbsp. confectioner’s sugar
- 8 1/2 fl. oz full-cream yogurt
Instructions
Place the frozen cranberries into your blender then add in the yogurt and confectioner’s sugar and blend until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses. Serve immediately.
Watermelon Smoothie
Mouth watering watermelon makes for a wonderful smoothie. It’s sweet and smooth and comes with a little kick thanks to the addition of raspberry jelly.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups watermelon flesh
- 2/3 cups galia melon flesh
- 1-2 tsp. raspberry jelly
- 1 tbsp. yogurt
- crushed ice
- fresh mint leaves; to decorate
Instructions
Remove all seeds from the watermelon flesh and process in your blender along with the galia melon, yogurt and raspberry jelly.
Pour the mixture into two glasses and fill up with plenty of crushed ice. Add a teaspoon of raspberry jelly to each glass and serve.
